Windom Dual Immersion School

Registration fee: $40.00 (per school year per family)

We have four different sessions throughout the school year: Fall (August – December), Winter (January – March), Spring (April after Spring Break – June) and Spanish Summer Camp (June- July).

Little WORKERS Early Spanish Literacy Program is available for pre-kindergarten students at Windom Dual Immersion School. Students learn Spanish through song and play, as well as social and early academic skills through cultural readings, arts, crafts, learning activities and more! Little WORKERS is a great transition to preschool and prepares them for Kindergarten. Little WORKERS is available Monday through Thursday from anytime between 7:30 to 10:30am (see catalog for more details). After Little WORKERS, our instructor will bring the students to High-5 or Joyce Preschool.

BLC also offers after school enrichment care and classes from Monday through Friday from 2 to 6pm. The after school program creates a bilingual and bicultural environment enriched with academic, interactive and recreational activities for students in pre-k through 6th grade. Students can participate in after school enrichment care and/or a variety of classes (see catalog for more information) while they develop social, academic, language and cultural skills.

BLC’s staff is bilingual and bicultural and has extensive experience working with elementary school students in diverse populations. BLC strives to help and support not only students, but the entire community by offering parent and family workshops during the year. Diversity is celebrated and valued at BLC and it prepares our students for lives of social responsibility, active citizenship and academic achievement.
